Colle McVoy Named AOR for Crystal Farms

By Kyle O'Brien

Colle McVoy has been named agency of record for Crystal Farms, a leading dairy brand and cheesemaker based in the Midwest, following a competitive review.

“We could tell from our first interaction that there was something special about the team at Colle McVoy. How they interacted with us and each other was different. We know Colle McVoy values building enduring relationships with its clients, and that’s something we’re excited for in the years ahead,” said Andrew Cannon, associate marketing director, Crystal Farms in a statement. “We’re looking forward to tapping into the agency’s full suite of capabilities, media expertise and creativity while collaborating to build best-in-class campaigns.”

Colle McVoy will lead all media planning and buying, social strategy and creative content development for the brand, with new work set to launch in early 2024.

The agency has a long history of partnering with food and agricultural companies and elevating their brands, such as Perdue Farms, CHS, AGCO, Vermont Creamery and Schwan’s Home Delivery. Crystal Farms is the latest client addition at Colle McVoy since being named Adweek’s Midsize Agency of the Year. The agency also welcomed the Annika Foundation, Craftsman, The Goddard School, Haribo and La-Z-Boy earlier last year.

“Working with forward-thinking brands like Crystal Farms is the kind of challenge we love,” said Colle McVoy CEO Christine Fruechte in a statement. “We share the brand’s relentless commitment to helping Midwest dairy farms thrive, and we look forward to developing breakthrough creative that taps into this passion and love for the heartland.”

Details of the deal were not disclosed, but COMvergence estimates Crystal Farms’ media spend in 2023 at under $1 million.
