Netflix plans to create a new original series starring the Marvel character Iron Fist. Jessica Henwick, an actress who has appeared on Game of Thrones and Star Wars: The Force Awakens, has been cast as the sidekick character, Colleen Wing.
Here’s more from Entertainment Weekly: “A martial arts expert running her own dojo, Colleen will serve as an invaluable ally to Iron Fist, aka Danny Rand (Finn Jones), as he returns to his life in New York…Iron Fist will open with billionaire Rand returning to New York City after being missing for years.”
According to Indiewire, Finn Jones will play the titular role. At this point in time, no premiere date has been announced yet. (via io9)
