Independent creative agency Zambezi hired Danielle Pak as its first director of communications planning. She will launch the agency’s communications planning offering while reporting directly to chief strategy officer Kristina Jenkins.

Communications planning provides context, to ensure that brands are understanding and optimizing against a holistic consumer experience.”

Pak spent over a decade at W+K Portland and spent several months as a freelance strategy director after leaving her position as an associate communications and planning director in November. She originally joined W+K as a media planner in April of 2006, spending three years in that position and working with brands including Starbucks and CareerBuilder.com. She then served as a communications planning supervisor, focusing on the agency’s Electronic Arts account, before receiving a promotion to digital strategist in June of 2012 and then her most recent role the following year.
