WXIN Indianapolis Anchor Fanchon Stinger Leaving TV for Own Business

Fanchon Stinger is leaving Indianapolis Fox affiliate WXIN.

She started working at WXIN in 2010 after working at WJBK in Detroit for 11 years. Stinger wrote on social media that she was retiring after 30 years in the industry and her last day will be May 10.

“I’m thrilled to announce that through my new production company, I will continue to tell stories and create content that inspires, challenges and motivates,” she said. “I will also continue speaking, teaching and hosting across the country.”

Stinger said her biggest passion is mentoring young people and that she is the co-founder of  gritandgracenation.org, an organization that equips “young ladies and women across the country to lead with courage, grit and grace in all they do while always honoring faith, family and freedom.”

“I am excited to now have the opportunity to serve as CEO of my foundation, sharing the life lessons God has taught me while expanding our scholarship opportunities, career preparation and leadership programming nationwide,” she said.
