Gray Names John O’Brien GM of Gray-Owned Louisville Station

John O’Brien has been named general manager of Gray-owned Louisville NBC affiliate WAVE.

This is a move within Gray TV for O’Brien, who has been the gm at WNDU in South Bend, Ind. for the past 14 years. He takes over for Ronna Corrente, who was promoted to svp, Local Media last month.

O’Brien was the general sales manager at Gray’s WILX in Lansing, Mich. for eight years before working at WNDU. He’s also worked in sales management at WNWO in Toledo, Ohio and at WWMT in Kalamazoo, Mich.

O’Brien starts working at WAVE on April 25th.
