WWL New Orleans Adds 2 Houston Anchors to Morning Newscast

Brandon Walker and Brheanna Boudreaux will be joining New Orleans CBS affiliate WWL.

An Algiers native, Walker had worked at KPRC in Houston since 2015. He began his career in news in New Orleans during high school as a desk assistant at Fox affiliate WGNO.

He’s also worked at CBS News’ national desk as a desk assistant before reporting in western Massachusetts, upstate New York, and southwest Connecticut. He most recently worked at KPRC Houston, first as a reporter, then as an anchor.

Boudreaux is heading to WWL from KTRK in Houston, where she was an anchor, reporter, and traffic anchor. She started her career in Lafayette and also worked in Sioux Falls, South Dakota and Norfolk, Va. She also served in the Louisiana Army National Guard.

The two will make their on-air debut alongside Eric Paulsen and Leslie Spoon on October 16.

Spoon has also been named full-time anchor of the noon newscast starting Monday, November 27.
