WSB‘s Jennifer Lopez, who has worked as a fill-in meteorologist at the Atlanta ABC affiliate for the last several years, is coming aboard full-time as the station’s weekend evening meteorologist.
WSB news director Suzanne Nadell said Lopez brings with her experience and knowledge of “the changing dynamics of weather in North Georgia.”
“Our viewers will always know what to expect for the weekend and the week ahead with Jennifer in Severe Weather Center 2,” Nadell said in a statement.
Before working at WSB, Lopez has had jobs at stations in Jacksonville, Fla., Dallas, Texas, and at The Weather Channel in Atlanta. She said she is “extremely thankful” to join the WSB weather team full-time.
“I have loved filling in on a part-time basis and I look forward to keeping our viewers informed every weekend as they wrap up the day,” Lopez said.
