Richmond, Virginia ABC affiliate WRIC has promoted weekend anchor and reporter Autumn Childress to Good Morning Richmond.
She’ll join anchor Delaney Hall and meteorologist Matt DiNardo weekdays at 4:30 a.m.
“Autumn has proved to be an enterprising journalist, delivering exclusive and impactful stories,” said Bernie Ritter, WRIC News Director. “Those skills paired with her performance at the desk make her a perfect addition to the GMR team.”

Her mother, Gwen Williams, was with WRIC for 17 years also co-anchored Good Morning Richmond.
Childress joined WRIC as a reporter in 2020 after reporting at WHSV in Harrisonburg, Virginia. She was promoted to weekend evening anchor in 2022 and then to weekend morning anchor in 2023.
