WJLA to Debut New Anchor Lineup on 4 PM News

Washington, D.C. ABC affiliate has a new 4 p.m. anchor team consisting of Victoria Sanchez and Megan Clarke with Live Desk anchor John Rogers and First Alert meteorologist Steve Rudin.

Sanchez will anchor the 4 p.m. news and continue in her role as the station’s Health and Wellness Reporter.

The new team will debut today at 4 p.m. in a new state-of-the art studio.

“We are thrilled about this anchor team and all the news reporting caliber, experience, and energy they each bring to the news desk. They all have unique backgrounds that will provide a fresh perspective to covering our early evening news,” said WJLA vice president and general manager, Todd Bernstein.

“We have put together a phenomenal Anchor Team for our 7News at 4 p.m. Victoria, Megan, John and Steve are true journalists dedicated to telling the important stories that impact our local communities,” said news director Cheryl Carson.
