If you were watching CNN’s coverage of the hunt for the man suspected of setting off bombs in New York and New Jersey this morning you might have noticed a guy holding a KPRC mic flag and wearing a KPRC hat during a press conference held by the Elizabeth, N.J. mayor.
That guy is Robert Arnold, an investigative reporter with KPRC. While the story of the bombings has grown in scope since they were first reported, TVSpy figured other local stations might want to know why a Houston station sent a reporter to the New York City area to cover it.

Arnold has been with KPRC since 2000. He’s gone beyond the Houston TV market covering other stories, including the 9/11 attacks, the BP oil spill, and plenty of hurricanes.
