Huntsville, Alabama CBS station WHNT debuted its new evening anchor team on Monday.
Ben Hoover and Tamika Alexander anchor the 5, 6, and 10 p.m. newscasts on WHNT. They will also anchor the 9 p.m. news on WHDF.
“We enjoyed welcoming Ben and Tamika on our airwaves Monday, and the duo is excited about getting to cover the Tennessee Valley and tell stories for our viewers each day!” the station wrote on its website.

Last week, 4 and 6 p.m. anchor Jerry Hayes retired from the station after 45 years.
