Matt Gittins has been promoted to weekday morning anchor for WBTW.
Gittins came to the Myrtle Beach, S.C., CBS affiliate as weekend morning anchor and producer in May 2015.
Starting in July, he replaces Rusty Ray who is moving to Minneapolis with his family after nearly 15 years at the station. Gittins, who worked at KPVI in Pocatello, Idaho before coming to WBTW, will co-anchor with Patsy Kelly on WBTW and will solo anchor on WFXB from 7 to 9 a.m.
