“Everyone who knows Sarah knows her talent, her character, her wisdom and her experience will serve her well and help her lead her new team. She’s a star, and she will be missed here, especially by me,” said WCPO news director Chip Mahaney in a Facebook post.

According to Zak’s LinkedIn page, she has served as the assistant news director in Cincinnati since 2014. Prior to that she was an executive producer at WFTS in Tampa, Fl.
