WCAU Pays Tribute to Former Entertainment Reporter Who Died Last Week

Friends and colleagues of former WCAU reporter Sheela Allen-Stephens took to social media to remember the entertainment and features reporter who died last week.

As of this writing, the station Facebook page announcing her death has 194,000 views, 2,900 likes and 345 comments.

Chief meteorologist Glenn “Hurricane” Schwartz paid tribute to Stevens on the station website.

Stephens, who survived breast cancer, three heart attacks, brain surgery and diabetes, retired from WCAU in 2005 after nearly 30 years in the industry.
