Octavio Pulido has been named anchor for Telemundo Arizona weekend newscast, Noticiero Telemundo Arizona.
“I am excited and honored to join the Telemundo Phoenix team, a local news leader for viewers in Arizona,” said Pulido. “I look forward to becoming a part of our viewers’ family and delivering the news with journalist integrity.”
Pulido makes his on-air debut on Saturday, Sept. 3. The newscast, which airs at 4:30 p.m. and 10 p.m., is simulcast on Telemundo Tucson.
He’s been an associate news producer, video journalist and fill-in anchor at Univision Arizona since 2011. He worked at the San Diego Tribune before that.
