Taylor Winkel is joining Seattle Fox owned station KCPQ as the weekend morning news co-anchor of Good Day Seattle.
This is a homecoming for Winkel who grew up in nearby Renton, Wash.
“I’m ecstatic to announce in a couple weeks I’ll be joining FOX 13 Seattle as weekend co-anchor of Good Day Seattle,” she wrote on social media. “I’ll also be reporting throughout the week. The PNW is my home and I can’t wait to tell stories in my community, meet my talented new coworkers AND spend more time with my family.”

Winkel previously worked as the weekday morning news anchor for KRNV in Reno, Nevada.
