Tampa Watchdog Reporter Leaves Station After 10 Years

By Stephanie Tsoflias Siegel

After a decade, WTSP political reporter Noah Pransky is trading investigative work for a move back North.

The Boston native made an announcement on his social media pages Thursday. He’ll leave the CBS affiliate in Tampa, Fla. at the end of the year.

“I plan on continuing to cover investigative and political stories,” Pransky said. “There’s so much on the national level that needs attention, but I also plan on staying close to the Florida political scene.”

Pransky is known as a watchdog in the area. He’s uncovered major stories such as uncovering backroom deals in the Tampa Bay Rays stadium and other political investigations.

The reporter also ran a blog called Shadown of the Stadium which took a deep dive into the details of potential financial deals and other happenings involving the sports business.

Pransky came to Tampa from Fort Myers where he covered news and sports.

He’ll wrap up his tenure at the station December 31. Here is his goodbye message.
