KOMO reporter Suzanne Phan is leaving the Seattle ABC affiliate.
Last week, Phan announced that her last day at the Seattle station was today and that she’s moving to San Francisco to join her husband, Ryan Yamamoto, who recently started working as an anchor at CBS-owned KPIX.
“Friends and family … I’m getting ready to leave Seattle,” she wrote on social media. “I’m looking forward to moving to SF and joining my husband Ryan there in the Bay Area. More to come later. For now, I just wanted to say … Thank You.”

Before joining KOMO in 2016, Phan worked at KXTV and KCRA in Sacramento. She started her news career as a writer at KNSD in San Diego.
