By Kevin Eck

Steve Sbraccia retired from Raleigh, N.C. CBS affiliate WNCN on Friday.

The investigative reporter joined the station in 2005 after covering the news for television and radio in Boston. He also spent 10 years as an assistant professor at Emerson College in Boston, teaching young broadcasters.

Spectrum anchor Justin Quesinberry wrote on Sbraccia’s facebook page, “Steve – when I think about the pleasure of working with you, I think of your hard work ethic, your creativity, your energy and your humor. I miss your quick one-liners and your the hilarious way you can weave the stories and jokes you tell in the newsroom. You’ve seen so much. You’ve done so much. We’re all better for knowing you. All the best in retirement!”
