St. Louis Reporter Andy Banker Hit in Pellet Gun Drive-By

By Kevin Eck

KTVI reporter Andy Banker is OK after being hit in the head by a projectile fired by a pellet gun.

The St. Louis station said security camera video showed suspects opening fire on the Fox affiliate’s crew Monday afternoon with what appear to be pellet guns.

Banker and photographer Brian Ledford first heard rapid fire, then saw what appeared to be gel-blaster-style guns made for airsoft games by what appeared to be male teens. Ledford was not hit in the attack.
