Telemundo 48 (KSTS) in San Jose, Calif., has named Marcelo Rivera as its weekend weather anchor.
Rivera will work on Noticiero Telemundo 48 al Mediodía and on Telemundo 48 weekend newscasts.

We anticipate his contributions will enhance our commitment to delivering accurate and insightful weather reports to our Northern California viewers,” said Rossyris Silva, vice president of news for Telemundo 48.
Currently, Rivera is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Meteorology at Mississippi State University.
