KY3 anchor Ethan Forhetz had a laughing fit during Thursday night’s newscast after a joke went over his co-anchor’s head during a read in Springfield, Mo.
Lisa Rose was reading a script about a bomb scare at a Home Depot in Wichita, Kan. The VO explained how a man at the store told shoppers to get out because he “was going to blow it up.” It turned out he wasn’t talking about blowing it up with a bomb. Rose’s delayed reaction got a laugh from Forhetz who was waiting for it all to click.
It took him some time to get it together before moving on.
