An upset Netflix employee who was recently fired called in a threat to a former coworker on Thursday, saying he was armed on the company’s Hollywood studio.
It’s a studio off Sunset Boulevard that houses KTLA as well.
The call prompted a lockdown that ended without incident around 5 p.m. Police say he stated that he was armed and “ready to take action.”

Police responded to the reports of an armed individual. Later, a man was taken into custody and released but never actually found on the lot.
The incident prompted a number of false media reports that stated there was an active shooter on the lot.
Everyone is ok.
