Sinclair just made a couple of leadership moves in its global public policy and communications division and in its sales department.

Patrick McFadden will join the company as its senior vice president for Global Public Policy and Communications. He’ll be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of Sinclair’s comprehensive legislative and regulatory strategy to support the station group’s policy and advocacy goals.

“We’re delighted to welcome Patrick as a key contributor to our executive group,” said Chris Ripley, Sinclair’s president and CEO. “He brings a wealth of critical experience to the cutting-edge broadcasting platform as it expands for all types of content distribution. He knows the issues, the people and the technology that underpin our business and is well-respected throughout the industry. He’s part of the elite corps of innovative and nuanced thinkers who are representative of Sinclair’s visionary culture.”

McFadden comes to Sinclair from the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) where he served for ten years, most recently as svp and deputy general counsel. Before joining the NAB, McFadden practiced telecommunications law in the Washington office of Drinker Biddle & Reath LLP where he specialized in policy advocacy, litigation, regulatory compliance and negotiations for wireless, wireline and VoIP service providers and communications device manufacturers.

Sinclair also named Ryan Moore svp and chief revenue officer. Moore’s responsibilities will include oversight of sales and revenue growth strategies, including digital sales, for all of Sinclair’s television stations, networks including Tennis Channel, and Compulse, Sinclair’s marketing technology and managed services company. Moore was previously the company’s svp and chief revenue officer of sports and digital.

“Ryan consistently demonstrates exceptional leadership, innovative thinking, and a results-oriented approach to driving business growth,” said Rob Weisbord, COO and President of Local Media. ” As we continue to evolve our cross-platform sales organization, Ryan will play a critical role in our next stage of growth, and we are excited to expand his scope of responsibilities across the company.”

Moore joined Sinclair in 2013 and has held several executive sales leadership positions including, vp of Digital Sales, senior director of Digital Sales, and director of National Digital Sales.

“As we navigate the dynamic landscape of the media industry, I am committed to leading our incredible teams in driving transformative results, fostering strategic partnerships, and maximizing revenue streams. As Sinclair continues to redefine the future of media, we will continue to deliver unparalleled value to our audience and clients alike,” said Moore.
