Shannon Maze has been named news director at Birmingham, Ala., Fox affiliate WBRC. “There is no place I would rather be and there isn’t a better team of journalists anywhere,” Maze said in a statement.
Maze has been WBRC’s assistant news director since 2011, when she arrived atop Red Mountain from KSWT in Yuma, Ariz., where she was news director.
Maze replaces James Finch, who was promoted to regional news director for WBRC’s owner, Raycom.
