San Francisco Anchor’s Dogs Rescued in Fire

KGO anchor Dion Lim said she had a good reason to seem distracted when reporting about a three alarm fire in San Francisco’s Richmond District over the weekend.

While one person was taken to the hospital and is expected to be okay, firefighters also rescued two cats and two dogs. The dogs were Lim’s and go by the name of Georgie and Daphne.

“They were staying at our dog sitter while I worked late yesterday,” said Lim. “PS: If I seem distracted anchoring the news about the Richmond District fire … this is why!”

Lim later tweeted that the dogs were OK and playing “like nothing out of the ordinary happened at all today. At all.”
