E.W. Scripps has announced new station managers for its stations in Tulsa, Okla., and in Fort Myers and Tallahassee, Fla.

Station managers are a new role at Scripps. They’ll help with the station’s day-to-day operations and serve as department heads.

The station group promoted Whitney Grover to station manager at KJRH in Tulsa, Autumn Jones, to station manager at WFTX in Fort Myers, Florida and Vicki Bradley, to station manager for WTXL in Tallahassee, Florida.

Grover has been the director of sales at KJRH, the Scripps-owned NBC affiliate in Tulsa, since 2017 and will continue in this role in addition to being promoted to station manager. Grover first joined KJRH in 2015 as the national sales manager. She was previously an account executive at KMGH, the Scripps-owned ABC affiliate in Denver.

Jones joined WFTX, the Scripps-owned Fox affiliate in Fort Myers in 2021 as the news director.

Bradley, who is news director at WTXL, will continue to lead the newsroom for the Scripps-owned ABC affiliate in Tallahassee. Bradley joined WTXL in 2019, becoming news director shortly afterward.

“All three of these news leaders have a deep understanding of their station and the communities it serves,” said Dean Littleton, senior vice president of local media for Scripps. “This, combined with their demonstrated leadership skills and commitment to providing coverage in the neighborhoods where Scripps viewers live and work, makes them a great fit in this new role.”
