KGO weekend news anchor Liz Kreutz told viewers on Sunday morning that she is leaving the Bay Area for an “exciting opportunity” somewhere else.
“Before we go, I do have some personal news to share with all of you,” she said at the end of the Sunday morning newscast. “This is my last day anchoring the weekend morning news here at ABC7 News. It is bittersweet to say that I am leaving the Bay Area for an exciting opportunity that I look forward to sharing more about very soon.”
Kreutz joined the San Francisco ABC owned station in 2020. Before that, she worked at KXTV in Sacramento and as a reporter for ABC.
