Sacramento Station Raises More Than $300,000 for Wildfire Victims

KTXL, the Tribune-owned station in Sacramento, Calif., announced its telethon raised a total of $336,000 for Camp Fire wildfire relief.

The station hosted the day long telethon on Nov. 15. All donations raised went directly to The Salvation Army California Del Oro Division.

“Serving our local community is a major focus for all of us at FOX40, in fact, it is our duty, and we are so proud to be the conduit for the community to come together and support those who have lost everything in this horrible fire,” said Leigh White, vice president and general manager.

Viewers raised $316,000, and Tribune Media Company Charitable Foundation made a $20,000 contribution.
