Velena Jones has joined San Jose, Calif. NBC owned station KNTV as a reporter covering Oakland and the East Bay.

Jones comes from CBS owned KOVR in Sacramento where she has worked since 2020. Before KOVR, she spent two years as a reporter and fill-in anchor at KOIN in Portland. She’s also worked at WISC in Madison, Wisc. and at WBKB in Alpena, Mich.
