Rob Hughes will join Chicago ABC owned station WLS as a weekend anchor and weekday reporter on Monday, August 21, 2023.

Hughes comes from Atlanta News First (WANF), the Grey owned CBS station where he was the weekday morning anchor/reporter.
From 2016-2020, Hughes served as an anchor/reporter at WCNC in Charlotte, North Carolina, after transitioning from the sports anchor desk. Prior to that, he worked as a sports director at WLFI in West Lafayette, Indiana, and began his broadcast career as a sports reporter/anchor at Kansas First News.
