Reporter Lori Brown is set to leave Memphis’s WMC, where she’s worked since 2007, for a job with WFTV in Orlando.
“I am very excited to be joining the WFTV team, a powerhouse station lead by news legend Bob Jordan and Matt Parcell,” Brown told TVSpy today via email. “I start October 31st as a general assignment reporter, with a personal goal of digging up government corruption and waste.”
A USC alum, Brown began her broadcasting career at KCOY on California’s Central Coast and she says that she’s looking forward to seeing palm trees again.
