By Aneya Fernando

Chauncy-Glover1Chauncy Glover is leaving WDIV, the NBC affiliate in Detroit, for ABC owned station KTRK in Houston. Glover has worked as a reporter and anchor at WDIV since December 2011.

In an internal email obtained by TVSpy, WDIV news director Kim Voet shared the news of Glover’s departure with her staff:

During his time here Chauncy definitely made an impact. He immediately developed key sources which helped him enterprise stories. Chauncy also covered a couple of key national events for us: the Sandy Hook shootings, and the Cleveland kidnappings. He also won his first Emmy awards during his time here. Please join me in wishing Chauncy well as he heads to Houston.
