Ray Strickland Trading CBS Detroit for CBS Philadelphia

Ray Strickland is moving from CBS-owned station WWJ to CBS sister station KYW in Philadelphia.

Before joining CBS Detroit in 2022, as a reporter he worked at WMAR in Baltimore, Maryland. He’s also worked at KSDK in St. Louis and at WKYC in Cleveland.

“If it wasn’t for this place, I wouldn’t be able to go to a place like Philly,” he told viewers during a tearful on-air goodbye. “What I learned here, the skills I gained and the people I met, literally lifelong., and I couldn’t be happier.”
