Philadelphia Station Sends Reporter to Cover Louisiana Floods

Philadelphia NBC-owned statin WCAU sent its social media editor to Louisiana to cover the record floods there. Her reports can be seen on the WCAU 5 p.m. newscast.

WCAU says thousands are in need of temporary housing after flooding damaged an estimated 60,000 homes.

Smith is a former Red Cross spokesperson. She’ll give viewers a look at recovery efforts and let people know how they can help out.
