
Tribune’s Chicago station WGN is expanding its weekend morning newscast on September 10.
The newscast, which previously aired form 6 to 7 a.m., will be anchored by Sean Lewis and Tonya Francisco, along with meteorologist Mike Hamernik and will air from 7 to 9 a.m.
Francisco was a general assignment reporter. Lewis joined WGN in June 2008 and has been anchoring the Saturday and Sunday morning newscast since it was launched in October 2010.
