KTLA anchor Pedro Rivera is signing off from the Los Angeles station today after two years.

“Over the last few months, I’ve spent a lot of time thinking about my future,” he wrote on social media. “I have made the extremely difficult decision to leave KTLA. I love this station and Los Angeles. My family is going through exciting new changes and I’ve decided to move closer to home and pursue other opportunities.”

The station posted a video of his co-anchors saying goodbye to him over the weekend. He started working there in 2021 after anchoring at KTXL in Sacramento.
