Pedro Montoro has joined New York Telemundo-owned station WNJU as a meteorologist.
“Pedro’s extensive experience in working as a broadcast Meteorologist for Spanish-language audiences, coupled with his scientific and academic background in Meteorology, Atmospheric Physics and Oceanic Processes, make him a perfect addition to the Telemundo 47 meteorology news team,” said Karen Mendez, vp of News at WNJU. “We are thrilled that Pedro is joining our news team and welcome him to the New York Tri-State area.”
Before coming to WNJU, Montoro worked in Miami and New York. He’s also worked as a weather forecaster for the Cuban Institute of Television and Radio Broadcasting, the Cuban Institute of Meteorology and the Center of Atmospheric Physics at the Cuban Meteorological Institute.
