The upcoming World Series between the Mets and Royals is bringing out the worst in the New York (WPIX) and Kansas City (WDAF) Tribune-owned stations.

WPIX anchors Kori Chambers and Sukyana Krishnan made fun of WDAF reporter Matt Stewart‘s tie during a live shot on media day and then told him “My trophy’s bigger than yours” The morning anchors at WDAF took offense.

Anchor Mark Alford wanted the anchors’ email addresses to complain. “We should look them up,” Alford said on-air. “We should all email them and everyone in our audience should email them and tell them how rude they are.”
