Thats exactly what happened when a memo went out this week at WKMG-Channel 6, the CBS affiliate in Orlando.

News director Steve Hyvonen announced a “newsroom summit” for Saturday, April 17. The newsroom’s more than 60 employees will gather for the day for training, breakfast, lunch and a discussion of “what makes bad TV news.”
Hyvonen also wanted staffers to vote for staffers who are “a positive influence on what we do every day” and have “a strong worth ethic.” More…
