The president and general manager of WDVM, the Nexstar station in Hagerstown, Md., will now oversee both of the company’s properties in the Washington, D.C. DMA.

Andrew Wyatt has led the Hagerstown NBC affiliate since August 2018. In his new role, he will oversee WDCW and DCW50.com.

“Since assuming the leadership of Nexstar’s Hagerstown broadcasting and digital operations 18 months ago, Andrew has demonstrated a deep understanding of the needs of the viewers and advertisers served by WDVM-TV and its digital operations, and his familiarity with the market makes him the ideal choice to now lead our Washington D.C. operations inside the beltway, as well.  While overseeing WDVM-TV he has expanded news capabilities, improved the programming lineup, established a variety of community partnerships, grown local sales and expanded digital offerings for viewers and clients,” said Theresa Underwood, Senior Vice President of News.

Wyatt served as a vice president and general manager at WFXG in Augusta, Ga. prior to this role. He implemented sales, marketing and digital media initiatives that all resulted in increased broadcast and digital revenues.
