At News 12 Westchester, the order is to stay home.

That’s according to News 12 anchor and i-team reporter Tara Rosenblum.

“For the first time … the news 12 i-team will be working solely from the field as a safety measure! Bittersweet, emotional and surreal moment leaving our Yonkers [N.Y.] studio tonight with my suitcase in tow not knowing when I will get to come back. So proud of my News 12 family and the extraordinary coverage they have been providing to keep the public informed,” she said.

New Rochelle is at the epicenter of the breakout in New York State. Today, Governor Cuomo announced a drive-thru testing center will open.

“My phone rings all hours of the day with inquiries from people who have nowhere else to turn for information. We are here for you. We have your back and are working around the clock to get you answers. Stay safe Westchester and we will do our best to do the same,” Rosenblum said.

For now, the Yonkers studio will remained closed.
