It’s no surprise people around the country are stressed.
But what did surprise morning reporter Miya Shay was the man going to the supermarket at 6 a.m. who blamed her for the coronavirus spread. He walked up to her during her live hit in front of a local supermarket, H.E.B, and started cursing her out. Shay had to dump out of the shot because he wouldn’t stop yelling.
“I’m just going to assume this guy dropped a bunch of F bombs on me this morning because his wife sent him for toilet paper too early,” she said.
The KTRK reporter has been reporting on how COVID-19 is impacting the Houston area.
I’m just going to assume this guy dropped a bunch of F bombs on me this morning because his wife sent him for toilet paper too early. #jobhazard#Coronavirus #COVID19 is serious. We are not hyping it. #abc13 https://t.co/fWUjPZUbWc pic.twitter.com/9zMhcP46xp
