Mike Cherry has joined Sacramento NBC affiliate KCRA as a morning and midday co-anchor.
On Tuesday, Cherry joined Lisa Gonzales and Eileen Javora at noon. He also joined Brandi Cummings as co-anchor at 7 and 8 a.m. and Deirdre Fitzpatrick, Teo Torres, Tamara Berg and Melanie Hunter from 4 to 7 a.m.
Cherry comes from WMUR in New Hampshire where he’d worked since 2017.

“It’s nice to be back in a climate where it is a little warmer,” he said.
