Jordan James is leaving Memphis station WREG to work for Nashville NBC affiliate WSMV.
James posted the job update on social media.
“I’m excited to announce that I’ve accepted a reporter/anchor position at WSMV 4, Nashville,” he wrote. “I look forward to calling the capital city home and getting started next month.”

James has worked at WREG since August 2021. Before that, he worked in Beaumont, Texas for two and a half years as a reporter and fill-in anchor.
