Man Charged With Hitting Philadelphia Traffic Anchor in Face on Sunday

A 21-year-old man has been charged with punching WTXF anchor Bob Kelly at a bar in Sea Isle City on Sunday during an apparent TikTok challenge.

NJ.com reports, Patrick Iannone, of Sea Isle City, was charged with third-degree aggravated assault, according to municipal court records.

Kelly is a traffic anchor at the Fox owned Philadelphia station. He said that he was hit while he was emceeing a party at a pub in Sea Isle City. The unidentified attacker poured beer on Kelly, then punched him in the face.

SeaIsleNews.com was the first to report the name of Kelly’s alleged assailant.

A criminal complaint obtained by CrossingBroad.com alleges Iannone punched Kelly in the left side of his face and that the television personality briefly lost consciousness. Kelly suffered lacerations to his eye socket.
