Lucy Noland will sign off from KNBC this week, a spokesperson for the NBC owned station in Los Angeles confirms to TVSpy.
“After two years with NBC4 Southern California, Lucy Noland has decided to leave the station to spend more time with her family. We are grateful for Lucy’s steadfast dedication and contributions to NBC4 and wish her the very best as she pursues a new chapter in her life,” a KNBC spokesperson said in a statement. “Lucy’s last day is Friday and a permanent replacement for the noon newscast has not been determined at this time.”
News of Noland’s departure was first reported by FTVLive.
Noland joined KNBC from KHOU in Houston in 2011. She anchored the noon and 6 p.m. newscasts until last month, when she was replaced on the 6 p.m. by Colleen Williams.
