Lucy Noland Leaving KHOU for KNBC

Lucy Noland is leaving KHOU in Houston and heading to KNBC in Los Angeles where she will report and anchor, though it hasn’t been announced what show she’ll anchor.

Noland had been co-anchor of KHOU’s main 5pm and 10pm newscasts since 2007.

Before KHOU, Noland was co-host of WNYW’s “Good Day New York.” Noland had been with WNYW for three years — from 2004 to 2007. Before that, she spent 7 years at WJBK-TV, the Fox owned-and-operated station in Detroit.

Born in Saigon, Vietnam, educated at the University of Alaska – Fairbanks, Noland has three children. She starts at NBC4 on July 11.
