Lindsay Watts Leaves WTTG in Washington, D.C.

By Kevin Eck

Lindsay Watts has announced her departure from Fox owned Washington, D.C. station WTTG after more than six years.

“Goodbye @fox5dc!” Watts wrote on Twitter. “Such a tough thing to say. I’ve spent almost half my news career here & worked w/ some phenomenal people. I appreciate the opportunity to stay, but decided it’s time for a change. I love this area & plan to stick around!”

There’s no word where she’s heading next.

Watts joined the station in 2016 after working at KMGH in Denver. She’s also worked at Denver station KUSA and at KRDO in Colorado Springs. She started her career at KAPP-KVEW in Yakima, Wash.
