Longtime WTEN anchor Elisa Streeter is retiring at the end of the year.

“For all of you wonderful viewers and Facebook followers in the Capital Region, I want to share some special news with you. After 30 fantastic years here at News10, I will be retiring at the end of this year! I have been so fortunate to work with so many compassionate, smart and truly funny people throughout the years,” she said on Streeter.

Streeter has been a staple in local news in Albany for more than 30 years. She currently co-anchors the 4, 4:40, 5:30 and 11 p.m. newscasts for the Nexstar-owned ABC affiliate.

The mother of three says she will spend more time with her family upon retirement.
